ABOUT THE ARCHIVE

The Alverno College Library Syllabus Archive allows current and former Alverno College students, faculty, and staff to search for syllabi associated with their courses. This archive contains approximately 15,500 syllabi spanning nearly 50 years of college history.

The Alverno College Archives is continuously adding to this collection as we locate additional syllabi. If you are an instructor with syllabi that are not available in the Syllabus Archive, please send copies to archives@alverno.edu so that we can preserve this crucial college history.

SEARCH TIPS

This system is designed for browsing by subject/course or by academic year.

Browse by Subject/Course will allow you to choose a subject area and view all courses in that subject area with digital syllabi in the Archives. If we do not have a copy of a syllabus for a particular semester, there may be copies from other semesters that will meet your needs.

Browse by Academic Year will allow you to view a list of all syllabi from each of 43 years, beginning with the 1974-1975 academic year. This approach is generally only recommended when looking for general information about course offerings rather than for specific syllabi.

The Archives has limited additional syllabi from approximately 1960-2003 on paper and on microfiche. If you are unable to locate a syllabus in this system, you may place a request for it and we will attempt to locate a copy for you.
